Villa Ruya is a much loved luxury family
home in the delightful village
of Ozankoy, about 3 miles east of Kyrenia. The villa has its own pool
and offers complete privacy. The interior has been beautifully furnished
with many designer fabrics. Ruya is the Turkish word for dream! When you
see the beautiful gardens you will think you have stepped into one!
The villa sleeps up to eight people. The master bedroom has a king-sized
bed and an en-suite shower room. The other three bedrooms each have two
3ft
single beds and all bedrooms have a good range of fitted wardrobes.
There
is a second shower room close by.
The villa is fully air conditioned and also has a washing machine,
dishwasher, large fridge/freezer and a fully fitted and extensively
equipped kitchen, Villa Ruya has all the modern facilities to make a
self-catering holiday a pleasure.
For dining on the terrace outside the main living area there is a large
table and chairs, looking out over the pool, which was installed in
Spring 2004.
The poolside is equipped with plenty of sun loungers with cushions and
two
very large umbrellas to give some shade in the heat of the day. A
Barbecue,
table and chairs provide another option for al fresco eating. Down a few
steps from the pool terrace you come to the citrus grove where you can
pick
lemon, grapefruit, oranges and pomegranates in season.
On the top floor, the large sitting room is encircled by a terrace
commanding amazing views, where you can relax on sun loungers. Whilst
under the jasmine covered pergola a large table and chairs are
positioned ready for evening drinks and dinner with a stunning view of
the floodlit Bellapais Abbey. There is a second built in barbecue on
this terrace. The car port is sheltered by a grape vine for you to pick
in season.
There is a varied library of books, cds, games and videos with satellite
TV/video in the upstairs sitting room and also in the master bedroom.
Each floor also has a compact cd/tape/radio. A hair dryer is provided in
each of the bedrooms. There is a main line telephone for local calls.
The villa also has a water softener and filtered drinking water system.
Villa Ruya is a non-smoking villa. Situated just a few minutes walk
along the old Crusader road up to Bellapais Abbey.
there are several
restaurants, bars and shops within easy walking distance of the villa.
